SpaGuard’s granular pH decreaser works quickly to reduce pH your spa’s water. A balanced pH enhances swimmer comfort and will make the life of your spa longer.

Directions for Use:

1. Use an accurate test method to determine pH
2. Use the chart and the results of the pH test to determine the required amount of SpaGuard pH Decreaser needed to adjust the pH to maintain a reading of 7.2 to 7.6
3. Be sure the spa’s total alkalinity reading is at least 125 ppm before adding this product
4. With the pump operating, sprinkle this product into the water when the spa is not occupied. Let the pump circulate for 30 minutes to thoroughly mix the product. In units with aerators, the pump should be operating and the aerator OFF prior to application of the product
5. Retest pH and adjust as necessary. Be sure to consult chart for correct quantity to add based on the current pH of the Spa

Note:

• Do not add near metal fittings
• Do not allow undissolved product to sit on spa surfaces
• Break lumps by brushing or other means
• One capful = 2 teaspoons
