Hiring Sales Associate

Sandollar Spa & Pool – Brewer, ME

$14 – $19 an hour

Sandollar spa is a fast pace, customer centered pool and spa business seeking a Part Time experienced, motivated individual to work with our sales manager to increase hot tub sales. The perfect candidate will have at least 1-3 years’ experience in a DIRECT SALES position or relevant customer service-based background. Will be well versed both written and verbally, motivated to exceed sales goals, and eager to learn new things. This associate would handle all customer interactions in the store including but not limited to, answering customer inquiries over the phone, in store, and email. Also Acting as a sales professional in absents of sales manager. Charismatic personality is a MUST, as we work with the public every day and participate in local fairs and off-site events. We are a small team filled with fun, laid-back professionals who focus on an all-inclusive team approach.

Hours:

Flexible work schedule. No nights. With a typical week Monday-Friday 930am-5pm with choice of day off during the week and Saturdays required (9:30am- 5pm/1pm in winter months) (with a total work week between 32-40 hours) Closed Sundays! Right applicant has potential for more hours and possibility to transition to full time status.

Day-to-Day

• Understanding hot tubs by studying characteristics, features, and benefits
• Understanding the reasons why people want to own a hot tub and can recognize each shopper’s needs
• Building rapport and customer engagement
• Maintaining sales leads through the sales process, including warranty registration
• Closing sales by overcoming objections
• Handling high level customer care scenarios
• Creating internal orders for custom spas for Sales Manager orders
• Understanding contracts and financing options
• Developing new buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; referrals
• Continually sales growth knowledge
• Maintaining clean and attractive spa displays
• Utilize pre-delivery guide and post-delivery follow up with customers
• Checking customers out after spa purchase using POS system
• Attend weekly Sales meeting, and other meetings as needed.
• Attend occasional off-site sales/events ie: Home show, tent sales, and special functions as needed.
• Other duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Love to sell and have a record of solid sales and closing ratios
• Have 1-3 years of successful sales experience or other relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of CRM systems and how to operate one
• Understanding of Salesmanship skills- Understand the selling process and customer engagement
• Can build rapport with anyone through your confident, friendly and outgoing personality
• Have good verbal, listening and written communication skills
• Can think creatively to find new ways to engage with customers and leads to communicate the benefits of our products

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 – $19.00 per hour
