SpaGuards Calcium Hardness Increaser comes in a granular form and will increase your calcium level steadily to balance your water. Low levels of calcium hardness can lead to corrosion of plumbing, surfaces, and jets. A perfect calcium hardness level will maximize the life of your tub, avoid calcium build-up, and maximize swimmer comfort.

Directions for Use:

1. Use an accurate test method to determine calcium hardness of water.
2. Using the chart below and total hardness test results determine the required amount of SpaGuard Calcium Hardness Increaser needed to adjust the calcium to maintain a reading of 100-200 ppm.
3. With pump running on high speed, scatter the required amount of product over the spa water and continue running pump for 30 minutes. Do not pre-dissolve the treatment as heat is generated when it contacts water.
4. When using SpaGuard Calcium Hardness Increaser, measure carefully. Inaccurate measuring could result in a calcium hardness other than what is desired.

Calcium Tips:

• In a salt tub lower levels are best, so do not add Calcium.
• If your calcium levels are too high on a Salt, Chlorine or Bromine Spa you must drain and refill.
